Hi, my name is Sandy Kuhl!

   Kuhl Stitches grew out of my lifelong hobby and love of sewing! My love for sewing grew from the teaching of my Mother, Grandmother, and High School Home Economics Teacher. Over the years I have made bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, Halloween costumes, homecoming dresses, the draperies in our home, and so much more.

     When my daughter graduated high school she wanted a quilt made out of her t-shirts. That was my first t-shirt quilt and the project that sparked my love of quilting. Since then I have made over 300 quilts for friends, family, and customers.

After the first couple quilts I made for family and friends we decided to start Kuhl Stitches and create custom quilts for others to enjoy at affordable prices.  We are a family owned business that provides many quilting services. My husband, Doug, helps keep our machines running in tip-top shape and is our tech guru. My daughter, Courtney, helps with design, layout, and fabric selection. She will often join me on consultations with customers. 

Having a quilt made is exciting, but can also be a bit scary.  We will treat your clothing items as if they were our own. If it isn’t good enough for my family, then it isn’t good enough for yours. With over 45 years of sewing experience, you can be assured that you are in good hands!
